1. Optifast Weight Management Program

The Optifast Weight Management Program is physician supervised, requires that the Member have a BMI greater than 30. Meals are not covered by Brand New Day however are available at a reduced rate.

The program can be used as follows:

Optifast Only
With Counseling and Support
Optifast With One Regular Meal Following My Plate Proportions
With Counseling and Support
Nutrition and exercise education is provided to the member that results in a loss of 40 to 60 pounds over 15 to 18 weeks. When returned to regular food, monthly follow up by Health Coach for support until member weight is stable, then quarterly follow up by brand New Day health coach. Nutrition and exercise education is provided to the member that results in a loss of 40 to 60 pounds over 20 to 30 weeks. When return to regular food, monthly follow up by Health Coach for support until member weight is stable, then quarterly follow by Brand New Day Health Coach.
Nutrition and exercise education is provided to the member that results in a loss of 10% of body weight over 5 to 8 weeks. When return to regular food, monthly follow up by Health Coach for support until member weight is stable, then quarterly follow by Brand New Day Health Coach. Nutrition and exercise education is provided to the member that results in a loss of 10% of body weight over 8 to 15 weeks. When return to regular food, monthly follow up by Health Coach for support until member weight is stable, then quarterly follow by Brand New Day Health Coach.

2. Online Weight Watchers

First 3 months of the online weight watchers program is provided at No Cost. Member is responsible thereafter.

3. MOVE! Program

MOVE! Group Sessions is a weight loss program developed for Veterans.

Brand New Day has developed a program based on MOVE! that creates a group experience that is engaging, inspiring, and creates accountability so that the facilitator can help participants build and refine their weight self-management skills.

The goals (which is set by the participants) is to achieve at least a 5-10% weight loss in total and complete 150-300 minutes or more of physical activity per week. The sessions include nutrition, physical activity, and behavior topics.

Each session will have an activity break and encourage participation from all attendees. The participants will be provided a Food and Physical Activity Diary, handouts, a weight scale, a pedometer, and a resistant band for exercise.
