Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS)

Effective January 1, 2020, a Schedule II substance that is an opioid can only be dispensed with an electronic prescription order as mandated by HB2075.

Health Current’s 2019 EPCS Click for Control has been developed in partnership with the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Arizona Board of Pharmacy to help providers meet the new requirements.
